We are looking for 1 x Full time Permanent Classroom Teacher and 2 x 1 year Fixed Term Classroom teachers, to cover a maternity leave and a 1 year sabbatical.

Do you possess the determination and drive to become part of the team that moves this expanding and successful school into the future?   Elleray Park School caters for pupils with Complex Learning Difficulties, including Autistic Spectrum Condition and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties.  The pupils are aged between 2 and 11 years old.

The school has provision for pupils in the main site and has recently opened classrooms in Ganneys Meadow Nursery School.

Due to expanding pupil numbers, the governors of this successful special school seeks  to appoint three enthusiastic and committed teachers, with the drive to contribute to the ongoing improvement and development of the school.

The successful candidates will:

  • Be an outstanding practitioner and posses the drive to contribute to the school’s strategic vision
  • Make a significant contribution to the continuing success of the school
  • Have the ability to inspire and lead their class team and work effectively with the other post holder to ensure that learning remains outstanding
  • Be committed to raising pupils’ attainment and have the proven ability to effectively differentiate outcomes for a wide range of learners
  • Be able to deliver highly innovative lessons using cross curricular themes to ensure that learning is embedded
  • Be able to effectively manage challenging behaviour
  • Have a willingness and commitment to support children with ASC
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for working with a team at an off-site provision base if required.

We are also looking for a cleaner to be part of our dedicated cleaning team

Hours will be split shifts. 7 to 8.45am, 3.30 to 5pm (Mon to Thurs)
7 to 8.30am, 3.30 to 5pm (Friday)

The governors are seeking a cleaner to join our staff team. Initial and on-going training will be given.
