Investigating and Exploring 

 

This term we have enjoyed exploring different materials including wood, metal, plastic, fabric and looking at the differences between them. We particularly enjoyed exploring the different textures of a pumpkin at Halloween. We have also enjoyed watching the effects of mixing different substances together such as making a bubbling potion using bicarb and vinegar and making gloop using cornflour and water.  We have also explored light through making a dark den and using the strobe lights and torches to light up and make shadows.
