Literacy

We encourage the children to develop their love of books with a wide range of sensory stories which we read as a whole class. We ensure that we have lots of props to support the text. We also enjoy independent reading in the book corner.

We also love our mark making activities. Within our activities we use foam, sand and flour to explore the marks we can make. We also use a range of writing implements to develop our mark formations and pencil grip.
