Mathematics
Jade class do daily counting and number work, and we love developing our skills and knowledge through lots of different activities; we do practical games, small group work and online interactive games to encourage the love of number and teach the importance of number in the real world! Our current focus is on comparing numbers and amounts, identifying if a group has more, fewer or the same. Some of us have been developing our skills in reasoning and explaining how much bigger a number is.
In mathematics we have been looking at 2D and 3D shapes and repeated patterns. We have been on a shape hunt and found lots of different shapes around the whole school!
