Ruby Class engage in a wide variety of creative activities such as sensory art where the focus is on the processes the pupils are using, rather than the outcome of the work. Pupils use a range of tools, experiment with colour, shape and pattern, use different techniques and explore a variety of actions on different media and materials. They also enjoy cookery sessions using all of their senses and learning to use a variety of tools appropriately. Sensory music and rhyme time sessions incorporate a wide variety of instruments, actions and songs for the pupils to engage with alongside their peers.
