Welcome to Violet Class!
We are a group of 9 children who follow the formal pathway. We love to learn, socialise and play.
Violet Class is supported by Tess the teacher alongside Nikki, Louise and Meg our Teaching Assistants.
In the Autumn term our topic was 'Out of the World'. We enjoyed learning about Neil Armstrong, the planets in our solar system and reading texts such as The Darkest Dark, Laika the Space Dog and an information text called Amazing Aliens.
Our Spring term topic is 'Food Glorious Food'. We will be focusing on a country a week exploring it's culture, cuisine and location in our geography sessions. Meanwhile in literacy we will read literature originating from each country. We have read folktales from India, animae comics from Japan and wrote recipes from Italy.
