Science

Violet class are keen scientists who like to investigate and share their knowledge. In the Autumn term we learned about space. In particular we enjoyed space day when we hosted an alien cafe!

One of our favourite space science lessons involved using oreos to make models of the phases of the moon.

We have been learning about digestion. During the topic we visited the Eureka Science Museum to watch a science show 'From Chew to Poo'.

Violet class enjoyed developing their investigative skills whilst taking part in experiments. We conduced a 'plant dissection' to find out about the parts of a plant and conducted an experiment to find out how water is transported around plants.
