Social Communication
All children in Copper Class will be able to access and use PECS and communication books in a range of contexts. The use of PECS and/or communication books will be encouraged through daily sessions, such as group sessions and 1:1 work, in order to promote and encourage a social communication environment within the classroom and wider school environment. Children are also able to access various symbols around the classroom in order to request. Some symbols include: toilet, outside and help.
