Attention Autism

In Copper Class we build attention and communication skills through daily attention Autism sessions. Attention Autism was set up by Speech and Language Therapist Gina Davies. The programme has three stages. Copper Class are currently working at Stage 2.

 

  • Stage 1 - The bucket. Which aims to grab the child's attention.
  • Stage 2 - The attention builder. Which aims to have visually stimulating activities with a focus on building sustained attention.
  • Stage 3 - The interactive game. This builds on turn taking and shifting attention.
