Numeracy

Gold Class take part in daily maths and numeracy activities including counting songs and games on the Smartboard.  We also do daily 'Maths Dictionary' where we use our voices and bodies to learn key maths facts

 

This term the focus is on counting forward and back, finding missing numbers and placing them in order.  We are also looking at common 2D and 3D shapes, recognising them in the environment, using them to create pictures and models and learning to describe them using mathematical terms
