Welcome to Orange Class!

We are a energetic, hardworking and enthusiastic class of 10 amazing children (8 boys and 2 girls) who enjoy learning new things and enjoy hands-on experiences.  Nicola is our class teacher and we have two fantastic teaching assistants called Chelsea and Lisa to help and support us with our learning.

In Orange Class, we follow a Semi-Formal Pathway, meaning that our focus is on equipping the pupils with the necessary skills, knowledge, understanding and experience to become more independent learners. Orange Classes timetable is structured around the core areas of Communication and Language, Early Literacy, Early Maths, Science and Personal, Social and Emotional Development. Our curriculum is individualised to meet each of the children's needs and includes a range of group sessions, such as Attention Autism and Sensory Story.  These help us to develop our communication skills, emotional regulation and engagement.

This page will be regularly updated with all the fun and exciting activities we get up to in Orange Class. Our first topic for the Autumn Term is 'Out of this World', where we will explore different aspects related to Space and our planet Earth.
