Each pupil has individualised cognition and learning targets taken from their EHCP. Pupils engage in a wide range of cognition tasks in class; whole group, small group and when working 1:1. Pupils experience early mathematics activities through play and when using a workstation to complete tasks as independently as possible. Pupils also engage in mark making and fine motor activities, cause and effect and ICT sessions. We have daily group sessions such as sensory story, Sensology and Attention Autism which all encourage pupils to work towards their individualised targets alongside their peers.
