Maths
In Maths, we have explored lots of different topics since the start of the academic year. We have learned all about 2D shapes and their properties, preposition, sequencing events such as the months of the year and are currently counting and adding up to 20. The children have been so engaged with maths and have enjoyed learning all about our mathematical topics so far. In Red class we love listening to songs and this really helps the children with their learning.

Maths - Autumn term
In Maths, we have explored lots of different topics over the Spring term. We have explored more than, less than and equal to, one more and one less than a given number, addition and subtraction, and patterns. We have now begun learning to count up in 10’s and 5’s as exploring and solving multiples of 10 and 5. The children have been so engaged with maths and have enjoyed learning all about our mathematical topics so far. In Red class we love listening to songs and this really helps the children with their learning.
Maths - Spring term
During the Summer term in Maths, we will be building on our prior knowledge. The children will also be exploring new concepts such as addition using the column method, telling the time by the hour, and managing money as well as recognising what amount each coin and note represents.
In Red class, the children love listening and singing along to songs and this supports them in their learning.
