Understanding the world
My world. This term Scarlet class have been working on knowing their own name. Answering what is your name? Finding and recognising own name and overwriting/writing name. We have also looked closely at relationships, building peer relationships through games and play skills, building relationships with the adults in our class and talking about the relationships we have outside of school. Who we live with? Who our family is?
One of our favourite parts of the week is to share our weekend news. We love seeing ourselves on the big screen and sharing with the rest of the class what we have been up to.
The world around me. This term we have had a large focus on our new enviroments, knowing where things belong and transitioning to different parts of the school and places within the community for example swimming. All children have really settled well into their new class and have made some wonderful friendships and relationships with others.
