Literacy
In Onyx class, we engage in daily Literacy lessons where we are using our phonics knowledge and skills to write words, captions and simple sentences. Our Literacy lessons our based around our class story, which we read daily. Onyx class also engage in daily 1-1 reading sessions where they read books with a familiar adult, practising their decoding and reading skills.
